Very interesting concept for a show. Love the sound quality
I’m sure Fil Corbett doesn’t want any hyperbole, but his podcast is so damn refreshing. Difficult to categorize so I won’t. Listen to this celebration and exploration or movement.
I have been subscribed to Van Sounds ever since I first heard an episode shared by The Dirt Bag Diaries several years ago. The latest series “Lucien” is a work of art. Living in the Eastern Sierra you can’t avoid the magnificent aspen groves. Over time I have learned to appreciate the carvings on these trees as I’ve trekked across the mountains of the Great Basin. Love this podcast, particularly the episodes that cover my stomping grounds from the Great Basin to Shasta. Loving the road postcards, and the baseball shirt is LIKE BUTTAH.
Smart, well produced, incredibly thought provoking and often hilarious. Let Fil’s dulcet voice seduce you with real and sometimes very untrue facts about different locations of planet earth. I learn about lots of impossibly cool stuff I would never have discovered otherwise— for instance, wanna hear a Nepalese metal band using traditional folk instruments? You really, really do.
