  • Thank you for speaking up for girls sports!

Brandi is a very strong clear voice to help get the information to parents and citizens who may not be aware of what schools and athletics in WA state are trying to ruin with girls sports! This is SO IMPORTANT!!!

  • Bias

I was looking for an unbiased reporting of several news stories. This was not it. When a reporter uses words like “weird” or “atrocious”, that is bias and opinion, not objective news reporting.

  • Sell Out

Brandi, is that your favorite Reel Big Fish song? Because it’s a biography of you.

A once talented reporter surrenders any pretense of balance and goes full bore MAGA. You never hear her call out conservatives or Republicans because Brandi is now on the wingnut welfare teat of Future42 and the gullible people writing the rest of these reviews.

You have no principles because you lean into what sells. It’s a shame real news people boosted your career only to have you backstab them and talk trash... more

Q: So what are some of the health care related cuts Democrats made? And did Republicans support them or oppose those cuts?
The guest explains the major Apple Health/Medicaid cuts in 2025 that affected hospitals, clinicians, autistic interventions, and mental health, and notes that these cuts were opposed by Republicans and criticized as mismanagement by Democrats.
S1 Ep882: Seattle Times columnist QUITS (8.20.26)
Q: What led you to resign from the Seattle Times?
The column presenting the perspective of two female athletes against transgender competitors was spiked, and after repeated editorial pushback against similar pieces, I felt I could not do my job as a columnist there anymore, choosing to resign on the spot after being told the piece would not run.

Q: What can you tell us about the current mood on the ground and the needs of the community?
The guest described a tough, ongoing situation with many residents having lost homes, ongoing evacuations, and a reliance on emergency resources; the emphasis was on community resilience, financial support, and the importance of Red Cross and food banks for immediate relief.
S1 Ep869: Swamp Watch: Is the WNBA trying to fail?
Q: All right, I've got to ask you about what's happening with the WNBA.
The guest explains the controversy around treatment of players Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark, argues the business model around fan hostility is harming the league, and frames the issue as part of a larger cultural/political struggle.
S1 Ep843: The World Cup is sanitizing Seattle (6.22.26)
Q: Why invite Joe Fan to discuss the post and what did you hope to learn?
To explore whether a sports-leaning perspective can coexist with critical views of local governance and to test if a more balanced view could bridge divides on patriotism and city identity.
