  • Bias

I was looking for an unbiased reporting of several news stories. This was not it. When a reporter uses words like “weird” or “atrocious”, that is bias and opinion, not objective news reporting.

  • Sell Out

Brandi, is that your favorite Reel Big Fish song? Because it’s a biography of you.

A once talented reporter surrenders any pretense of balance and goes full bore MAGA. You never hear her call out conservatives or Republicans because Brandi is now on the wingnut welfare teat of Future42 and the gullible people writing the rest of these reviews.

You have no principles because you lean into what sells. It’s a shame real news people boosted your career only to have you backstab them and talk trash... more

S1 Ep809: Swamp Watch: Weaponized audits? (4.22.26)
Q: Why do you think the audit happened so soon after the media coverage?
The guest suggests it was politically motivated, pointing to the timing after national exposure and implying retaliation or pressure from state authorities for speaking out against policy.
S1 Ep804: The taxman cometh (4.13.26)
Q: Do you believe there is a duty to defy unconstitutional laws, or should those fights be left to the courts?
The host's guest(s) suggest there is a duty to defy in certain ways, but also discuss balancing acts with consequences, and believe public pushback and civil disobedience can highlight constitutional concerns, while some callers advocate leaving enforcement to courts.
S1 Ep801: Finding fraud (4.7.26)
Q: Senator Braun, what should be the practical next steps for Washington state to address the $37 million in questionable payments highlighted by the audit?
Braun advocates for stronger reporting and tracking of federal dollars, clearer accountability within DCYF, and potentially federal or state-level actions to ensure funds are used for intended services, with emphasis on preventing recurrences and ensuring proper investigations when credible allegations arise.
S1 Ep787: Joe Kent resigns (3.17.26)
Q: What is Brandi's take on Joe Kent's resignation and its implications for foreign policy messaging?
Brandi argues that Kent's stance reflects a broader conservative skepticism about Iran as an imminent threat, while highlighting the political risks and narratives within the Trump era; she also calls for more accountability from officials and a clear explanation of the rationale behind U.S. counterterrorism policy, suggesting the need for transparency in how such decisions are communicated.
