I love this because I can relate..many can relate to every word you say..as an immigrant, I have struggled to integrate (language aside) no matter how hard I tried..you feel the judging, the “you will never be one of us” vibe and most importantly the attitude..cold and unfriendly most of the time..you live to work not the way around and don’t get me started on the weather..wish I had your courage to just leave it all behind and start over somewhere else..maybe I will who knows ?!
