An absolutely gorgeous podcast about the many ways that mothers can shape us. The episodes are very short, beautifully produced, and feature stories from all over the world.
With artful editing and skillful storytelling, Katie brings together voices from all over the world to create a beautiful time capsule of this pandemic. Episodes have made me laugh out loud and cry. In a year when it’s been hard to find connection, this podcast has been a safe harbor to return to again and again.
Katie does a great job bringing listeners close to each person we hear from on the show, with tasteful editing and thoughtful use of music. Like great movie dialogue, you get all the wise thoughts and deep feelings of actual conversation, with none of the boring parts. Every episode makes me feel like I’ve made a new friend!
A beautifully edited compilation of intricate narratives from people navigating the COVID-19 pandemic around the world!!
Bringing together voices from all over, the Transmission Times reminds us that we are not alone in this experience. Hearing the unfiltered thoughts and stories of others is a powerful way to feel connected, even while we’re far apart.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to feel like we are not alone in all of this. Heartbreaking and heartwarming all in one place.
Just beautiful!
The sound and editing quality of this podcast are beautiful. The content itself is so timely, relatable and will serve as an incredible documentation of these strange, wild days. Well done Katie, thank you for the work.
