I absolutely love this podcast. As a lifelong baseball fan (Go Cardinals!), it is a joy to hear the stories of these men who have worked so hard to reach the pinnacle of the sport. Listening to these interviews helps me to see just how hard it is to make it to the majors, let along thrive there. Thanks for doing this!
This has quickly become one of my regular podcast listens. Great guests, love the insight into the league that dans don’t typically get to so, but Kevin needs to give the guests room to breathe. Every episode has the same issue: the guest will be on a roll and start answering a question and then Kevin will cut them off, change the attention of the story to himself, then the guest never gets a chance to finish the interesting part. I love hearing about people’s journeys to the majors! The Zach Neal episode was my favorite so far! I have 2 suggestions though- 1. Cody and Kevin are great but the pod needs to be about the guest- every episode we hear your stories over and over and it becomes exhausting. 2. When you ask a question don’t answer it for the guest. Both aren’t trained in media so I get the learning curve but it’s a wonderful pod! Keep up the great work!
I love how this show combines players who were big stars to everyday big leaguers. Not many shows go into this much detail over a long period of time, well done.
Love hearing the real struggles and stories of guys
