If you’re a fan of music history, cool older bands and sounds that should not be forgotten. The host is a musician himself and can bring to life things that the average Joe may not consider but when put in Laymans terms keeps you interested.
If you like old school shows like VH1 Behind the Music and Bands Reunited you will dig this.
Such a pleasure to listen to, I love how the musically thick knowledge translates into a light, funny, easy to listen regular date.
Pair it with a curious recipe and a glass of great wine, and that’s all is needed!
Looking forward to an episode on my favorite band!
This charming podcast answers the ultimate question of popular music. I’ve always wondered what food Meatloaf was until I heard the meatloaf ep. The premise of the show really takes the boring old music podcast and spices it up with food allegories. I promise if you have misophonia (like me) you will not run screaming. It’s a lot of fun and I’ve learned more about Meatloaf then I thought I ever would.
Wanna sit and listen to a talent musician talk about a band and food. Then this is for you. Always fun, often insightful.
I’ve really been enjoying this hour-or-so listen. The thought exercise of figuring out which food a band embodies is great fun, Nate’s a natural at hosting (and apparently cooking, though c’mon man, send us listeners some treats!), and the mix of music trivia and cooking technique makes for a nice weekly mental snack. Looking forward to seeing which foods some of my favorite bands are and to the show branching out into different styles and genres as it progresses!
