This podcast is “sew” delightful!
Meghan & Liza are incredibly insightful, thoughtful, and hilarious people who have the sweetest sisterly dynamic and the best, most interesting conversations about sewing etc in movies I’ve ever heard. Also, the research they do is impressive (tracking down David’s Bridal collections from 2011 to confirm Rebel Wilson’s dress in bachelorette, wow) and I loved their analysis of the ric-rac suits in Three Amigos, which I’ve always thought were amazing. As is this podcast!
I keep trying to find a sewing podcast I actually want to listen to …….this is it.
Very funny. About sewing and costumes but also, everything else.
Love it.
If you love movies, and love to find out how they (and the costumes) are made, this is the podcast for you.
Through witty banter, Liza and Meghan at long last solve the mystery of movie character costume making. Could the character make this costume in the movie time provided? Most importantly, should they?
Give “there’s no thread” a listen. You will laugh, you will cry, you will learn about sewing and costume design.
I didn’t know I needed this in my life, but I do! Two sisters nerding out on movies and sewing…a void has been filled! I laughed, I pondered, and then I watched the movies and fantasized that I was part of the conversation. I’m actually so impressed by the amount of facts gathered and calculations performed. This is hard hitting investigative reporting that is also hilarious. I can’t wait for more!
