this podcast is definitely one of a kind. the back and forth banter between Kirk, a layperson and Jundo, a Zen priest in the Soto tradition is refreshing, ad-hoc, and enlightening. this podcast brought me closer to my Buddhist faith, and was alot of fun at the same time.
I mean this in the absolute nicest way possible, listening to Jundo and Kirk is like listening to Car Talk, but instead of about mufflers it’s meditation. Have listened to every episode in full and will continue to do so.
P.S. I love Jundo’s singing.
giving me a regular impulse
I love this podcast for its dynamics between the 2 hosts, non-bias teaching of Zen, and topic based on daily life events.
There is often partial view in any kind of religion commentators, practitioners, and participants. However, I love so much about this podcast is the talks being so honest, without any attempt to cover anything imperfect or unideal in Zen practices or practitioners. It’s so good to have this podcast exist.
Thank you guys for making this wonderful program.
I love listening to this podcast on my way to yoga practice. Jundo and Kirk put me in a good frame of mind without letting me get too serious about myself. Thank you.
