    Good show, one of

my favorites! VERY glad to see adult perspective finally get factored in, and cool it with Matthes, as you 2 are my favorite moto content creators.

We’re all humans , and can view every detail of life with a different lens , have our own specific opinion on each thing, and all still get along.

We all share the same common thread, the rest doesn’t matter.

We all live in the best country, under god, and have no real reason to be divided . Keep on keepin on Ping!... more

  • Buckelewwwww!!!!!

Yesssss!!!!! Finally someone got Justin on the pod. I’ve been waiting for someone to have him on. He used to coach me when I was a teenager and I never fully realized who he was or what he accomplished in the sport. Later down the road I started looking into his career more and was like someone needs to talk to him. Thank Ping for brining Bucky on the pod that was really cool to hear about my former coaches story. I also didn’t realize you grew on Canyon Mx where I grew up racing, so cool! 🤙

Q: What was your first thought when you heard about The Ultimate Rider show?
I thought it might be a corny TV concept at first, but once I learned Mark was involved and heard more details, I realized it could be a real platform with serious potential for riders to showcase their skills.
HEP Suzuki Team Manager, Larry Brooks
Q: What was the dynamic like with Jeremy McGrath joining the Yamaha team?
Jeremy brought a level of pressure, expectation, and fan attention that the team hadn't dealt with before. It required scaling up infrastructure, managing a large crew, and aligning incentives with Yamaha, which was challenging but ultimately led to multiple championships.
HEP Suzuki Team Manager, Larry Brooks
Q: How did you approach moving from rider to team manager and what were the biggest early lessons?
I assumed management would be easier than racing, but it turned out to be a whole different kind of hard. It required building a team, managing sponsors, parts logistics, and dealing with personalities, which was a steep learning curve but ultimately taught me how to support riders effectively.
CEO of World Supercross on the Future of Racing | the WhiskeyThrottleShow
Q: How do Monster Energy Supercross, the National Motocross Championship, the SMX Playoffs and World Supercross live together in harmony?
Burwell explains an ecosystem approach where the different championships serve complementary roles, with riders and teams choosing paths that fit their goals, while World Supercross remains a distinct world championship that can coexist with other series through collaboration, careful scheduling, and shared audience development.
