  • My Favorite Haters

Genuinely funny and insightful! The fact that they can have different opinions to my own is why I return. I enjoy hearing arguments as to why a critically acclaimed game is not as good as you or most people may think. Folks let’s be honest, if all you consume is content that wholly agrees with your opinions you end up forming groups like MAGA.

  • My New Favorite Podcast

Hello. I am writing this to counter a recent 1 star review. I discovered this podcast following Nikki's departure from Giant Bomb, because I thought he was so funny. I then quickly wondered who his hilarious co-host John Warren was. Fast forward a few months, and both VGBees and If You're Driving Close Your Eyes, have become my favorite podcasts.

  • Out of touch

No one hates video games more than this group. Impossible to take them seriously. Wastes time on social issues.

  • Mega bummer vibe shift

The tone of this show has shifted so heavily that I haven’t finished an episode since October.

Dunno what’s going on with the hosts but they come across as so jaded and miserable that this show has become unlistenable.

The Game Awards episode is where I had to draw the line, between John’s stream and that episode, I think more time was spent complaining about the TGAs than the actual runtime of the TGAs. Y’all (verified correct spelling with a lifelong Texan) don’t have to watch the TGAs, Ge... more

  • Miserable

Do not understand doing a podcast about games just to be this miserable.

If you want to listen to some of the most bitter, petty, and resentful former games writers show why they got cast out of games media, boy is this the podcast for you.
