It's about the over-merchandised little yellow freaks and the current state of the Irony-To-Genuine-Enjoyment Cycle we're thrashing about in! Jess has Stockholm Syndrome for the Minions now, due to editing this episode!
I love those funny little gimmick apps and face swappers! We all do! What could go wrong?
This week, Lucy James and Tamoor Hussain do their best to educate Jeff Bakalar on fandom, shipping, and the Mishapocalypse. The moral? Fans can be... intense.
I’ve dipped into a couple of episodes of this and while the concept’s fine, it’s blatantly a video project that’s just had the audio stripped and put up as a podcast with no attempt to actually make it work as an audio experience. Listening to people react to, but not describe, a video they’re watching isn’t all that interesting, oddly.
Great show but every 40 seconds there is a phone static dial up noise and it’s really annoying.
