The ugly truth is that the privilege is omitted in the discussions even though the interviewees present themselves as victims that weren’t allowed to be creative. They are heirs and millionaires who omit their privilege as trust fund kids and present themselves as being like the regular public who cannot be “ugly” without recuperations. It’s disingenuous.

I was fooled by the title! It turns out that the host of this podcast is beautiful inside and out and is generous of spirit. As a guest, I felt welcomed and enjoyed the easy dialogue that we had. Lauren emphasizes the full gamut of creating and leaves the listeners wanting more. It is validating to hear others talk about how writing and art can be messy and yet satisfying.
