I am still catching up with the episodes (now on beginning of 2018), so with this comment it looks like I am time travelling to beginning of 2023. It is working like that, right? ;) Anyways, I truly enjoy the podcast. It is informative AND funny. It is all I look for from this kind if podcast. Keep up the excellent jo guys. I moved to Japan over 3 years ago now and I still re-listen to all of these podcasts! They’re full of so many useful insights into Japanese language and culture. Your results may vary, but the things I picked up about Japanese culture really helped me break the ice with the non-english speaking people I worked with when I first moved to Japan and I feel like it really helped me just find common ground! Honestly I love it! I hope to hear Michael and Koichi’s voices return one day!
I can tell why some people might think it’s annoying with all the tangents, but it keeps me interested and is hilarious. I loved the episodes with Michael and koichi, they are so funny and sharp witted. I learn so much just from a few episodes, not just about Japanese, but cool stuff in general
Say hello to a 13 year old まんがか wannabe sitting in her room. Yes literally. And yes I also want to go to Japan obviously. And why is 13 too young to run away to a country on the other side of the world? (Just joking don’t worry) (I’ll wait until I’m 14)
