The goal of this podcast is to empower blind and low-vision people to explore the world, and help our sighted friends see the world in a new way. Frequently, as people lose their eyesight, they become more and more isolated. The Tactile Traveler hopes to empower people, not only to go literally around the world, but around the block to new adventures in their lives.

When he mentioned he had a podcast, I knew I had to check it out! It was such a pleasure chatting with him and this podcast has gained a new fan! Much love from Maryland!

I answered a Be My Eyes call, a gentleman who had a vacuum he placed outside taken from him, after confirming there was nothing more I could help with, he recommended this podcast and was very interesting to hear how they adapt to problems I wouldn’t give a second thought to.
I promised the podcast author that I would listen to his podcast and I am happy I did!! This podcast channel really gives you a bigger and better understanding of what others who can’t see go through everyday. Like I stated previously I’m glad I tuned in!!
