Not sure if any of the hosts grew up in the Super Nintendo era. A very hard listen
Greg & Joe are lovely folks who cover lots of interesting games from a nostalgic console. Definitely recommend
I wanted to like this. Tried listening to the Lufia episode but couldn’t make it past ten minutes before giving up. The audio is atrocious, even with earbuds in at full blast you can barely hear a word they’re saying. Couple that with constant stuttering and filler words (umm…uhhh…) every second and this is a drag to get through.
I’ve been burning through a lot of retro gaming podcasts lately and this one wins out for me. They pick great titles, many of which don’t generally get talked about as much but are right up my alley. And the level of detail they go into for each game is perfect. Other podcasts jump around too much or have too much filler. Yes, the main host has a bit of a stutter but it is usually well managed and doesn’t detract from the great job he does. Don’t listen to the negativity and miss out on this ste... more
