  • Mileage will vary

Covering about a decade of reviews this archives is generally good to great with a few underwhelming episodes. The good episodes tend to be the most recent [2016] where Alex, the host, and company give contrasting opinions and insights that are fun to listen too, while earlier episodes [2013] is essentially him ranting for 2 hours with his cohosts trying riff along with him. There is definitely a learning curve on display as the show gradually embraces its namesake as time advances on.

  • A Truly Astonishing Podcast

Listened to the episode on Kung Fu Panda, and their ability to elevate a kids movie to that of high art (without sounding or being pretentious or snooty) is absolutely exceptional. Congrats all involved! 😃

  • You’ve got the Touch!

I found this podcast when I searched for reviews on Transformers the Movie. I was not disappointed. Thanks for actually taking the time to make your review fun and informative without turning it into a nitpicking deconstruction. I could feel the nostalgia and love for the movie in the review.

  • Batman - The Movie

What a joyless load of absolute tripe. Muppets like the guy in charge of this podcast are pretty much everything wrong with 21st century entertainment. Miserable, cynical dopes obsessed with dour, grim nonsense.
