THE REST IS GIANT ROBOTS - A PODCAST THAT'S MORE THAN MEETS THE EAR.Writer Simon Furman and artist Andrew Wildman go back to the beginning... Charting a 40-year stint in comics, TV animation, games and more, including - of course - a healthy discourse on the rise and fall and rise again of TRANSFORMERS, also now 40 years old. In a series of roughly chronological, informal chats, Furman and Wildman... more

So packed with details on Marvel UK and Transformers comics in general, it’s utterly fascinating. Thats what brought me here. But Simon and Andrew’s conversations about their wider careers, and life as freelancers, are just as interesting. The episode about the speculator boom and crash is riveting. Good work, guys.
A lovely trip into the past, and my childhood back to the 80’s of Marvel UK and Simon Furman who along with Geoff Senior were huge influences on me. Really enjoyable anecdotes from all.
Insightful history in the trials and tribulations of the original Transformers comics. Insightful and yet so relatable to anyone with a career in the field they love, the ups and downs and the drive to keep going. One of my favourite podcasts.
Anything Simon and Andrew do together is sure to be worthwhile
These two are legends and their casual chats are giving a great insight into what went on behinds the scenes of the 1980s and beyond Transformers comics. Recommend!
