Poor George. He's never seen any movies. Rather than mourn their dear friend, Travis and Dan have taken it upon themselves to show him what he is missing. But they don't stop at showing him famous movies! They also help George to understand how each film fits into the Great Narrative of Film. Not only THAT the film of the week is significant, but WHY and HOW. Also, they make jokes and stuff.

  • Not PG13

Gremlins IS NOT the first movie with a PG13 rating. Gremlins is still rated PG, it’s because of this movie that the MPAA created the PG13 rating.

  • The “Wishbone” of Movie Podcasts

90s kids, you remember Wishbone - the adorable Jack Russell on PBS who once donned costumes and inspired in us a love for the literary classics? Years later, in high school, the only reason you survived reading “Pride and Prejudice” was because you compared it to Wishbone’s version in your head.

This podcast is the “Wishbone” of movies, IMHO.
