The Potterverse: A Harry Potter Podcast With Mary & Blake explores the entire universe and wizarding world of Harry Potter. Married couple Mary (Gryffindor) & Blake (Slytherin) put aside their differences and discuss all things HP. From theme, to character studies, chapter by chapter breakdowns of the books, and full breakdowns of each film including the Fantastic Beasts series, we dive headfirst into what makes Harry Potter one of the best stories ever told. Be on the lookout for our personal stories, how we relate to each story and how we try to highlight the lesser appreciated perspectives throughout J.K. Rowling's sprawling adventure. Beware that spoilers are abound in this podcast! We will not be limiting our conversation only to the specific chapter which we are reading that episode. This is about the ENTIRE Potterverse - so the films, later chapters, or even entire other books will be examined every episode.

I am late to join the Potterverse but absolutely love it!!!
This is a great podcast to listen to when doing anything really really enjoy the commentary between Mary and Blake. I really enjoy how they reference other podcasts they do together and just all the nerdy and fun things they talk about definitely brings Lumos to a time of Knox. As a teacher of 9th graders ( I know yikes) my only question for Mary and Blake is if you had to assign each Hogwarts professor to a Muggle school curriculum. Who would teach what subject? I think trilony would be either... more
The way they both break down each book and chapter brought a deeper love for all things Harry Potter. You guys are real about what you are sharing and break it down in a way I could never do. Bring a connection from book to book that I never realized. Keep up the amazing work
This is a fun podcast and better than the other Harry Potter podcasts that I have tried. As I reread (over 10 times) the series, I find that the errors make me wish that Mary and Blake had fact checkers. For example, in the latest episode they say that Dumbledore can apparate and disapparate in and out of Hogwarts, but that happens only in the movies. Even when he escapes Fudge and Umbridge and two aurors in book 5, he leaves his office with the help of his phoenix. In another episode (book 3), ... more

Not a big book reader but I’ve wanted 2 read the potter books but Mary and Blake explain the books so therefore I don’t need 2 read em lol also love this is us too podcast.
