  • Interesting and fun

So far (three episodes in) it’s a top podcast. Interesting, revealing and though way out of my knowledge zone it is very understandable. The personal chemistry between the two presenters makes it gallop along in an enjoyable and fun way even though it’s a serious and well informed discussion. Looking forward to the future episodes…..

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Teaching the Machine: Conscience and Truth in the Age of AI
Q: What are the things that you're actually worried about in terms of AI, and what should we be concerned for rather than this hype?
The pace of development is the primary concern, followed by the potential for massive job displacement across sectors. We must anticipate exponential changes, build retraining and safety nets, and design governance that can keep up with rapid innovation while protecting people and open societies.
Power, Protocols & Post-Scarcity: Where Venture Capital Goes Next
Q: Could you maybe talk us through that in a little bit more depth for the benefit of our listeners?
Rob explains three investible assets driving disruption—AI, blockchain/crypto, and biotech—and contrasts how VC approaches these spaces, especially noting the value of networks and open-source protocols in crypto versus traditional cash-flow-focused models.
