Great podcast overall but I’ve actually been pushed in the opposite direction of the host. I’ve gone from deism more in the Catholic direction. I enjoy this podcast but the host often uses straw man arguments towards certain religious positions and seems to not understand the actual arguments put forward.
I’ve left Christianity but atheism did not have answers to the complexity of nature. So, my move to deism. Thank for your podcast. The thinking deist, that’s how I would describe it.
As a newcomer to the Deist belief system, I'm grateful to find what few podcasts there are about the subject. This layman's approach to Deism helps shed light on a neglected topic and attempts bringing it to the mainstream.
My only criticism is that, while the host claims taking a "natural" approach by recording at his duck pond and on-the-fly, he urges listeners to promote the podcast on Facebook and other mediums. If this podcast wants to branch out, there should be more effort and time from... more
