I love magazines, I love magazine discussion, and yet this is so dull and poorly produced. The boring, predictable questions and poor sound quality drag this pod into the dregs, but as a world-leading magazine organisation, this is exactly the source I’d how could provide an exciting, entertaining insight into magazines. Part of it is the host sounding horribly bored. It’s contagious.
This podcast is super-fascinating because while it is about magazines, it is more about contemporary culture. It is intelligent, fun and spontaneous.
It’s a joy to listen to people who are passionate about magazines. Essential listening also if you are interested in popular culture. Accessible and a must hear.
Just what I need to keep me up and inspired on my niche - printed magazines
Really enjoy this podcast, keep up the good work
