Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mac & Bone Hour 3: Improving the Panthers
Q: What is your plan for improving the Panthers during legal tampering and early free agency?
The plan centers on targeting an edge rusher and an upgraded linebacker, with consideration given to a premier middle-linebacker option like Devin Lloyd, plus flexibility to add a veteran tackle and center to shore up the line; the emphasis is on aggressive, opportunistic moves rather than waiting for the market.
Mac & Bone Hour 4: Kevin Brown & Ashley Stroehlein
Q: Kevin, what's going on, man? How you feeling about the ACC Tournament and calling games this week?
Brown shares excitement for being in Charlotte to call ACC Tournament games, notes the strong Duke-Clemson dynamics, and offers early thoughts on how injuries to Duke's key players might reshape the tournament landscape.
Mac & Bone Show - Kevin Brown Interview
Q: How big is NC State's game tomorrow against Stanford in the bracket context?
It's a significant game because a win would stabilize their bracket fate amid a chaotic bubble, especially if they can carry momentum from a road win into a neutral-site matchup.
Mac & Bone Show - Kevin Brown Interview
Q: What do you think of Duke's chances if Gumburt and Foster are out for the week?
Duke remains a strong favorite, but their depth is clearly tested; they still have top-tier talent and a solid defensive identity, which keeps them in the conversation, though the path gets tougher without the two players.
Mac & Bone Hour 3: Hornets Awards
Q: How does the shifting MLS calendar affect Charlotte FC and players like Westwood?
Westwood gives a thoughtful view on the new calendar alignment with European leagues, noting potential implications for scheduling, weather, and roster planning, while staying optimistic about the league's ability to attract top players.
