I was very impressed by this podcast. I wasn't expecting much as it only had 30 something reviews but it's definitely in my top 5 of favorite audio dramas and is probably the best podcast I've heard within the past year! I listen to a ton of audio dramas so that really is a compliment!

Podcast Addict52 years agoNelsGVOIt's hard to judge The Love Talker. The production value (especially the music) is great, the acting too and setting and story are intriguing. Also good that the story focuses female characters without letting them use polticial correct language on every turn. However, I often found myself drifting off when listening. I think the format of the multiple narrators who narrate their actions as well wasn't the best choice since many of those characters go soon as well.

Podcast Addict52 years agondpttGood horror podcast. However, it really leans on the traumatic storylines in a way that doesn't always feel respectful or necessary for the plot. Dialogue is also a little wonky at times (sounds over edited in a way that doesn't fit with the setting and characters), but otherwise enjoyed this.

The story is told beautifully, even as gut-wrenching as so much of it is to behold. Utterly upsetting, not for the faint of heart, but one of the best audiodramas I've heard. I definitely don't think I'll listen a second time, but I'm glad I did once.
