I started re-watching the love boat late last winter & I’m currently up to season 5. I was about 9 when the show debut. It was considered risqué for its time. So glad you’re covering it & you make me laugh out loud with some of your comments. Hope you’re in it for the long haul!🚢
I started watching The Love Boat when I was on a Princess cruise with my fam. They had a channel that played the show 24/7. I listen to a lot of rewatch pods about various shows and your snarky commentary about the show and about how cruises might work keeps me laughing while I’m driving for work. I’m only on episode 5, but I can’t wait to catch up and I hope you guys follow through and pod the last one from a cruise…you’ll love it!
I also undertook watching The Love Boat last year and am working my way through very slowly. It’s one of the few late 70s/early 80s shows I was NOT exposed to as a kid because that was all my mom had on TV. The fact that this podcast exists warms my heart.
Very funny! So many things about the actors that I never knew about. Sometimes after the podcast, I go back and watch the show.
This is my favorite new podcast. Come aboard.
