I miss Jack
The old episodes with Jack Marley? Excellent.
The BBC resurrecting the corpse of this podcast and handing it over to Nicola Adams while still using the same feed and carrying the same positive reviews built up by Jack’s hard work? Disgraceful.
With the previous host, this was an engaging podcast with interesting discussions with varied interviewees which was enjoyable.
Now with the current host it has a different feel- it doesn’t feel as engaging and lacking a certain spark.
Not worth a listen anymore.
Only recently picked up on this. It’s been going since 2018 so I’m playing catch-up. I’m not a sports fan per se, but it is generally an engaging listen which would explain why I’ve listened to a couple of months worth in the last week
Really easy to listen to - great guests chatting naturally about the sports they love.
Key themes from listener reviews, highlighting what works and what could be improved about the show.
