  • God moving

Im not much of a podcast guy. I get bored listening to people if im not involved in the conversation. Yet every time I listen to the Leaders cut I am being equipped, filled, guided, learning etc. The lord has breathed life into this ministry and how I’ve been blessed to hear the voice of the Lord speak through Preston. What a faithful son Preston is to the God of the universe. Thank you for what you do. Sincerely my favorite podcast.

  • God Cuts us All

I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year and decided to leave this review after the “principles of God Process” episode because Preston and the Holy Spirit continue to refine this show and it’s sometimes guest but also Preston. It’s an honest conversation about a range of subjects through a biblical lens but at the core : God wants to be your friend and bless you but he’s going to cut you. He prunes all trees who bear fruit. Thank you Preston and Tim Ross who introduced him to me

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What God’s Voice ACTUALLY Sounds Like (with David Holland)
Q: How does gratitude and contentment function as hacks during seasons of hardship or invisibility?
Gratitude calibrates the inner posture, helping people remain content even when external circumstances are challenging. By listing what one is grateful for, individuals reset their perspective, recognizing that true identity and significance come from being known and loved by God rather than external success or visibility.
What God’s Voice ACTUALLY Sounds Like (with David Holland)
Q: What have you learned about honing the ability to hear God's voice, especially in quiet and stillness?
He explains that hearing God is a common, accessible experience when one settles the heart, practices stillness, and learns to distinguish the Holy Spirit's “fragrance” from other internal voices. Stillness, removing distractions, and training the soul to be calm are essential, and Scripture and prayer are partners in this process.
What God’s Voice ACTUALLY Sounds Like (with David Holland)
Q: Can you tell us about your background and how your calling evolved over time?
David talks about moving from traditional ministry paths to broader ways of serving God, including ministry-adjacent work, writing, and helping others publish their books, all while emphasizing that every vocation can be holy if done in obedience to God and with the right perspective on significance. He highlights the shift from a narrow view of ministry to a broader understanding where ordinary work is also worship.
The Place Where Real Battles Are Won (with Brenda Palmer)
Q: Savage. So tell them a little bit about you. Give them a little bit of context. Who is Brenda?
Brenda describes herself as a girl who said yes to following Jesus, the youngest of 10 in a blended family, with a life that has taken her from Chicago through Mississippi and Syracuse to LA and now Dallas, all under the aim of calling a generation back to the heart of God.
The Principles Of God’s Process (with Jabin Chavez)
Q: What does it mean to die to the 'win' and pursue the daily walk with God as the real prize?
It means prioritizing intimate relationship with God over accolades or expansion, embracing seeds that die to rise in glory, and valuing peace, family, and rhythm with God over worldly measures of success.
