  • I'm used to listening to stories in the form of podcasts without a narrator, but listening to these stories is still great.

  • Step into the Lavender Tavern to hear tales of love, loss, magic, and mystery. I found myself absolutely enchanted by the tales and delighted by the LGBTQ+ content. The cadence of the narration, the flow of the writing, and the pacing of the storytelling all work together to create an engaging listening experience.

  • Enchanting, clever queer fairy tales

I came to this podcast via the wonderful Ben Meredith, but honestly both seasons are magical. The Tavern at the End of the World, which Joe Cruz absolutely kills, is my favorite episode. I won’t spoil, I’ll just say that it’s the first fairy tale in which I’ve ever seen myself.

The Scrying Eye and Myers’s Helping Hand were two favorites of mine. It also had some great voice a... more

I in no way mean to say the plots are simple, absolutely not, but it is sometimes nice to do away with all the a... more
