If you’re a Laurel & Hardy fan then you have got to listen and subscribe to this podcast. I stumbled across Patrick’s podcast a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for Randy Skretvedt’s book ‘Laurel & Hardy The Magic Behind the Movies’ and I’m glad I did. Just wow! Listened to number 35 and now working my way from the first podcast onwards - already onto number 10. Patrick is very knowledgeable and his enthusiasm and rapport with his guests is brilliant. I’ve learnt so much already and can’t ... more

How have I only just discovered this amazing podcast just a few months ago? Having been a Laurel and Hardy since I was a kid in the early 80s, this is just what the doctor ordered (the same doctor who said I might have hydrophosphates). His guests are the crème de la crème of Laurel and Hardy expertise, and the pace is always relaxed, allowing the experts to chat o... more
I really enjoy the podcast a lot. Background on the boys and their films is fantastic. But on several episodes i have listened to the audio of the host is much lower and softer then the guest whose audio seems to be much louder. To a degree it is distracting when I have to constantly raise and lower the audio levels. Will keep listening and enjoying and hope this is a random issue. Thank you.
This podcast has reminded me how much I love the wonderful Laurel and Hardy! I listened to the Big Business one and now have started from number 1. Well researched and presented with infectious enthusiasm. A real treat!
