The sound quality was bad too. Again, this is based on one episode; I hope the rest it’s different. I would have wanted the Rabbi to have more freedom on expressing his ideas, but the host was somewhat controlling rather than guiding the convers... more

Marriage Makeover with Nicki Hurwitz & Ora Nisanov
Q: How has your level of closeness changed since embracing Masora?
I've become more mindful of my husband, more present, and more willing to do small daily acts that show care, which has deepened trust and reduced resentments.
Marriage Makeover with Nicki Hurwitz & Ora Nisanov
Q: What is the biggest surprise you learned about Torah-based marriage versus an equality-based approach?
I realized that the dynamics shift when the husband is the primary channel of blessings and the wife consciously receives and expresses appreciation, which changes the entire atmosphere at home.
Marriage Makeover with Nicki Hurwitz & Ora Nisanov
Q: What were some of the challenges in your marriage beforehand that kept cropping up?
The main issue was communication; big topics were left until they grew too large to handle, and there was a lack of mature, open dialogue.
Marriage Makeover with Ruth Baron & Chaya Berger
Q: What changed in your daily routine to support the transformation?
Regular expressions of gratitude and explicit appreciation for small and big acts, plus practicing open communication and not hiding faults, helped normalize honesty and trust in the relationship.
Marriage Makeover with Ruth Baron & Chaya Berger
Q: What were some of the misconceptions you had about marriage before learning Shalom Bias Mesorah?
My husband was seen as the knight who would whisk me away, and I blamed him for every discomfort; over time, I realized the dynamic needed to shift toward partnership and receiving blessings from a higher source rather than shouldering everything alone.
