  • Great Podcast!!! 👍🏻

As someone like myself that loves the outdoors and travels around the country and up to Canada hunting every year, this is one of my favorite podcasts. I love getting to know the different guest on the show in the outdoor industry. Mark does a fantastic job interviewing them.

Another great thing is the amount of insight and information I gain from listening to the podcast, which is extremely beneficial.

    Thanks,

Q: What is the central message you want people to understand about this fight?
The core message is that wildlife management must be science-driven and protected by constitutional rights to hunting and fishing, with broad, in-state coalitions backing strong, data-led policies rather than personal agendas or anti-hunting rhetoric.
EP 139 | Bruce Pettet and Tim Lesser Talk All Things Leupold
Q: How are customers entering the market now compared to 10 years ago?
The conversation notes a broadening of the hunter demographic, with more tech-savvy buyers and a younger segment entering the market, driven by increased access to information and a wider range of gear choices, while traditional hunters remain active.
EP 139 | Bruce Pettet and Tim Lesser Talk All Things Leupold
Q: What is it, just for anybody that doesn't know, and what's the next step with it?
IP-28 is being discussed as moving from an IP petition toward a ballot measure, with the plan to gather signatures to advance it into a formal proposed bill and to determine the next steps in the legislative process.
EP 137 | Leading Conservation Forward with Jason Price of GSCO
Q: What are the biggest challenges facing wild sheep today, domestically and internationally?
Accessibility and affordability of hunts, along with the ongoing need for sustainable conservation funding, are among the top challenges. The guest emphasizes balancing market demand with responsible management, supporting conservation through collaboration, and using milestones to drive both opportunities and accountability.
