Overall I enjoy the content. Please please stop whisper-talking. I think you need a sound man. I have to turn up your podcast 15-20 settings higher than all others, especially when you whisper-talk. Look into learning a consistent voice inflection. Your hard to listen to but I'm a fan and agree with you on everything.

Jillian is a brave young woman with intellectual honesty. As I’m a coach of female athletes that are both straight, bi & gay & most feel they’ve no choice in which political views they must choose. Some of former players who’re gay are Republicans but know they can’t safely parade their political association. Jillian is the torchbearer for such girls & young women.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Batya Ungar-Sargon WRECKS THE RADICAL LEFT
Q: What changed your view on the political landscape and MAGA's appeal to working-class voters?
She describes waking up to the disparity between what the left claims to defend and the actual material concerns of working-class people, especially around immigration and economic policy, which altered her perception of who constitutes MAGA and how to engage with voters respectfully.
Batya Ungar-Sargon WRECKS THE RADICAL LEFT
Q: How do you see the current state of the left and right in relation to anti-Semitism and Israel?
Batya argues that anti-Semitism and debates over Israel have become central fault lines, with the left embracing anti-Zionist rhetoric and the right sometimes adopting extremist positions, but she sees a broader push across sides to mainstream hostility rather than genuine consensus.
Cheating Death: The #1 Rule of Cancer Survival
Q: What are the barriers to getting screened and how can people overcome them?
Insurance coverage and official guidelines often hinder access to low-dose CT scans, so she advocates paying out of pocket when necessary, pushing for policy changes, and providing resources and scripts to talk to doctors to secure orders for screening.
Cheating Death: The #1 Rule of Cancer Survival
Q: Tell me what happened. What prompted you to write this book?
The guest describes a life-changing experience with an unexpected lung cancer diagnosis caught early through a routine scan, which she emphasizes can happen to non-smokers and highlights the emotional and medical journey that followed, leading her to write a book to spread awareness and advocate for broader screening.
UNMASKING THE CRAZY: Sheriff Chad Bianco Pulls Back the Curtain on His Opponents
Q: What would you do differently in California governance given the current policy landscape?
Bianco advocates for ending the state income tax, leveraging natural resources, and fundamentally reforming homelessness, crime, and regulation with a strong emphasis on law enforcement and accountability.
