I’m really glad these classic episodes are available for people to enjoy for free. The audio is mostly listenable although the volume is occasionally all over the place from one episode to the next.
I just wish the feed was in order or at least organized in some way. It skips all over the history of the show and some episodes are not dated, some are repeats originally posted not long before. It’s kind of a mess.
It’s great that this is on here, but the audio quality is terrible. You can barely hear them.
If you like adventures in odyssey or George burns and Gracie Alice then you should likes this too.

Notable strengths include tight ensemble chemistry, a velvety sense of timing, and deft integration of sponsor messages that mirror vaudeville-era programming. For potential listeners or sponsors, the mix of timeless humor, historical radio craft, and recognizable guest dynamics makes this show a compelling window into mid-20th-century entertainment and its promotional storytelling, while al... more
