Mike really makes you think about things in a different way. As vocalist we are taught technique and to push our bodies to make them do what we want them to do. Mike shows you a different way. Thinking about my voice, body, and mind as a whole unit has really been a game changer for me. I really learn so much from this podcast especially things about about myself. Mike provides personal examples and stories to help you unlock your your Inner Singer.

I’ve been singing since I was a child, and pretty much did it all; folk/rock/pop/jazz/big band, opera, musical theatre, both as an amateur and a professional at times.
I have had lessons upon lessons, coaching, teachers in music programs, etc.
These days, as a “woman of a certain age”, I’m making a go of it as a jazz vocalist.
