  • Morning Glory indeed

Mike’s show is the best for confronting corrupt politicians and parties; he scares them so much, they do not want to appear on the chair opposite him. No one is safe from Mike’s sledgehammer type of interview which is refreshing; even Lords are not protected by their titles. Must listen or watch it on YouTube for the total experience.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Burnham Works From Home
Q: What are your first impressions of Andy Burnham as Prime Minister?
Benedict suggests Burnham is mainly spinning a more jovial, friendly image rather than presenting a solid policy agenda, noting a gap between rhetoric and substance.
Terror Cops Investigate Widdecombe Death
Q: Do you think Nigel Farage should receive enhanced security for all MPs given the circumstances?
There is a debate about targeted vs. universal protection; while some argue for expanded security given high-profile figures being attacked, others worry about practicality and civil liberties, suggesting a need for risk-based assessments.
An Establishment Hit Job?
Q: Let's have your feelings please on Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
The guest discusses Burnham having the numbers to become PM, questions about Labour's direction and policy clarity, and the broader uncertainty about his leadership style and what policy direction he would pursue.
Burnham Wins Makerfield
Q: Could there be an early general election as a result of Makerfield?
While some guests argue an early election is more likely due to Burnham's mandate, others caution that leadership contests could distract from governing, and a snap election remains uncertain.
Where Does Your Foreign Aid Really Go?
Q: Do you think this country is broken? Can it turn a corner?
The guest answers affirm that optimism exists in the British people and that leadership and policy focus on real outcomes can steer the country toward stability, stressing the need for detailed work over flashy headlines.
