There is so much to love about this modern-day Dracula story! Johnathan and Mina Harker still wildly in love as they possess unlikely colleagues turned friends? YES. Trans female lead? YES! Beheaded Dracula? Badass security agents? Betrayals?? Yes, yes yes!!!! I am hoping and praying for a season two!!
I truly cannot overstate how much I love this show. I am a huge Dracula fan, but even if I wasn’t the story and sound design is so compelling I have relistened several times and enjoy it more each time!
I had a great time with season 1. The cast is super talented, and the diversity of the characters is a big plus. The premise is fun and engaging and the production value is also really good. It can be a little hard to follow the action sometimes, though, particularly when our heroes are running from monsters. It's to be expected but I wish some parts were more clear. Still I definitely recommend checking it out, I'm looking forward to season 2.
Super creative and engaging. I hope there is a season 2.
Everything from the character development to audio quality, voice acting and writing is ghoulishly superb. If you love dark fiction and vampire tales in particular, THF is outstanding.

The show blends atmospheric sound design, supernatural possession, and a road-trip structure to explore identity, loyalty, and family as they confront eerie creatures, severed heads, and a lingering mystery surrounding the Holmwood Foundation. Recent episodes emphasize crowdfunding and the challenges of continuing the story, while maintaining a strong emphasis on character-driven suspense and a reverent nod to classic horror lore.
