I listened to The Highwaymen hoping for some cold hard facts but all I got were rumours and accusations. I really enjoyed the format and the series was clearly well researched and executed which made my disappointment at the lack of actual damning evidence all the more deeper. I’m a Daily Maverick subscriber so I’m the perfect target listener but I’m not interested in aspersions - feels like a missed opportunity for the nail in the coffin of these obviously compromised characters.
