Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rob Ceravolo: The Find a Way Mindset — From Top Gun Pilot to CEO to Executive Coach
Q: What does the mind, body, spirit triad look like in day-to-day leadership and personal life?
It means deliberately tending to all three: pursuing ongoing learning and mental clarity (mind), maintaining physical health and energy (body), and cultivating community, purpose, and personal fulfillment (spirit). This balance enables sustained performance and authentic leadership, especially during times of stress.
Rob Ceravolo: The Find a Way Mindset — From Top Gun Pilot to CEO to Executive Coach
Q: How are you applying the Find a Way core value to teach organizations to move forward when others freeze?
By teaching teams to pause, reassess priorities, and implement iterative plans with clear milestones. The approach emphasizes adaptability, structured decision making, and creative problem solving under pressure, demonstrated through COVID pivots and ongoing advisory work where you guide clients to pivot rather than stagnate.
Rob Ceravolo: The Find a Way Mindset — From Top Gun Pilot to CEO to Executive Coach
Q: What was the final straw that made you step back from the day to day at Tropic?
It wasn't a single moment but a gradual realization after stabilizing the post-COVID period; I wanted Tropic to succeed, but I needed to reallocate energy toward the parts of life that fed my 'spirit' and allowed me to coach others effectively. This led to stepping back, restructuring, and pursuing a new path in advisory and coaching while maintaining a connection to the company via leadership and mentorship.
When Things Don't Go As Planned...Trusting the Unfolding with Tina Klonaris
Q: Can you give us an idea of how forgiving your circumstances or yourself manifested in your story?
Forgiving her circumstances took time and was connected to acknowledging the pain of loss and accepting that she didn't speak up when it mattered.
When Things Don't Go As Planned...Trusting the Unfolding with Tina Klonaris
Q: What did that initiation look like?
The initiation through grief involved recognizing that she could not remain bitter and needed to find a way to heal for her son.
