Sadly, like all womens football coverage in the uk this is ridiculously Arsenal centric. It really should be called the Arsenal women’s football podcast. Arsenal used to be a great team, and the club deserves respect for how they’ve supported the women’s game. But the women’s team haven’t done ANYTHING significant in YEARS. And the way don’t deserve to continue to have the lions share of the coverage. People still saying the “should” be winning, the “have the team” or “have the players”. Their s... more
Welcome to the new season, same as the old season. It’s still about Arsenal then everyone else. So you get five star treatment if you’re an Arsenal fan, but one star if you’re not. It’s such a shame because the hosts are knowledgeable and likeable, but they and their producer definitely know how unbalanced their Arsenal coverage is because it is so crassly obvious. I suspect they and their producer do not realise how disproportionate their Arsenal coverage is. It would be fine if that team were title holders or European champions, but they’re not.
just listen to how they handled the Jonathan Morgan story on 02/06/24. these are lazy people just getting by in their jobs, unfortunately. the guardian hires these talking heads who are *not* serious reporters trying to cover the sport in the detail that it requires just so they can tick off their woso coverage box for themselves, not because it’s a good
