Penny Cephalonia is a gorgon, snakes and all! In an effort to reconnect with her monstrous heritage, she started this podcast to interview fellow nonhumans (and the occasional interesting human)! Along with her oracle roommate Sibyl, who does the horoscope segment, and occasionally some commentary from her head-snakes, she'll explore the supernatural world with curiosity and charm.

So goofy and fun. Imagine if a Gorgon got a show on NPR and you'll have the vibe. Penny is often unexpectedly sassy and it's kind of delightful.
Great premise & the snakes are my favorite!

The concept of this podcast is delightful! It seems to have found its legs pretty quickly, which is impressive for any dramatic or mockumentary-style podcast. Sybil’s horoscopes are surprisingly charming in their silliness and occasional horror, although I would enjoy hearing Penny’s hair-snakes’ commentary a bit more throughout. Perhaps they’ll chime in when Penny interviews a reptilian monster such as a basilisk or lamia in the future? The monsters that have appeared on the show so fa... more
This show is off to a really good start!
The host has had really good interviewing chemistry with the interviewees (and she's adorable besides!), and the humor is really clever and always keeps the central premise of the show in mind [and also, the back-and-forth between the snakes and Penny is fantastic]. The two episodes so far have been really unique, interesting mythological figures.
Excited to see more!
