  • Awesome show!

I love to listen to ap podcasts to get a feel for a new game when I’m considering running it for my group. The Flying Bison crew has not disappointed. The crew is adding great stories to the existing Avatar universe in a way that feels just right. They capture the feel of the series while having a great time. I highly recommend this for fans of Avatar or ttrpgs (and if you like both why are you not already listening?)

Edit: I’m still not quite caught up to the end of season one but this just ke... more

  • Fantastic!

I started listening because my friend recommended it, knowing I love Avatar. I had ZERO experience with ttrpg’s and I didn’t know what to expect. It took me a little while to get a feel for it, but I’m so glad I stuck with it because now it’s my one of my favorite podcasts and I look forward to it every week.

I didn’t know what to expect from this actual-play thing. Being the all-our-nothing, slightly OCD person that I am, I started with the campaign planning episodes. My brain wanted out! It was SO boring. And yet… somehow listening to these players start to build a story together, with the light music playing, felt intriguingly fami... more
