Marika was likely involved. Not only did her numen sisters participate, but she had the greatest motive, to strike down Godwyn who was the golden boy of the golden order, which Marika wanted to destroy to free herself from the prison of godhood under the control of the Greater Will.
I love the world building of Elden Ring but going through the game can make me miss a lot of important details. This podcast has been so good at contextualizing everything in a way that helps me see new things as I play. It’s also really enjoyable to hear two people having intelligent discussions about something they love. One thing I’d love to see discussed is the influence of various mythology and folklore on the game, because there’s so much there.
