  • A fun podcast with some entertaining guys; the downside is most of the guys are bigger fans of the KJA/Brian Herbert novels than they are Frank Herbert's. And thus most of the philosophy, ecology and political commentary that we love from the original 6 isn't even discussed. Makes me want to start my own Dune podcast though..

  • In-depth, detailed and immersive.

I got more than what I bargained for. I found this podcast 3 months ago. It’s been around for years, and so, as I my style, I downloaded it and listened to it from the beginning. more

  • Excellent and entertaining!

If you are new to this podcast please, go back and listen from the beginning. It’s three fans who read and then discuss each book of the Dune saga. They are not experts nor do they claim inside information on the series or movies. They are just fans who want to talk about what they’ve read. I love the synopsis given of each book because I have little time to read them myself. Some reviewers have complained about spoilers.... well maybe READ the book BEFORE you listen to the podcast ABOUT that bo... more

  • Spoiled a major character death in trailer review.

So I’m one of those people knowing not much about this series, saw the trailer, did very light, spoiler-cautious research and wanted more. Started reading last night, and this is the first podcast on the series I’ve listened to, and I’ve already been spoiled.

  • Journey

I have really enjoyed the podcast as I re read the original series and jumped into the Anderson/Herbert books. Though (like a lot) I find the switch from frank the Brian jarring, it adds to the universe - though I really tried (really !) I just can’t love the Anderson/Herbert books - they are too obvious in their writing and the character depth is just not there - thank you guys for the journey in this - I always liked your interplay as hosts.
