I’ve listened to this podcast for a while and I think it has great information, I love each of the guest, and I always leave with a new idea. Why I rated it so low is because the main host will not stop interrupting everyone. Every single episode he talks over ever one and repeatedly cuts them off. Every time a guest makes a point he then goes on 10min tangent... more
I have binge listened to dozens of these episodes over the past month—and it has totally changed my hiring process. I am now OVER HIRING for the summer, have reorganized programming, and have adjusted roles—all due to the invaluable advice of the hosts
Smart people from different perspectives all sharing the nitty gritty about day camp. What a great resource, wish I’d come across it sooner!
Somehow I grew up working in a day camp and made it all the way through two years of running my own day camp before realizing there is a whole network of camp professionals in this world. It’s something I never imagined could exist and has been such a support this year. I have found the discussions here very relevant to my business and it has helped me to feel less alone in this niche market! Thank you!!
As a camp professional, I always enjoy learning from others in the profession. However, this can be challenging as we can't see other camps in action since we have our hands pretty full in the summer. The Day Camp Pod is a great opportunity to learn alongside some of the best in the business year round. Thanks for doing this!
