The hosts are funny and have great rapport. They do a beautiful job of bringing lots of love to a show that stands the test of time. I can’t recommend the podcast highly enough.
It's enjoyable to listen to people who are fans of the show give opinions that aren't jaded through a 21st century lens. They do a humorous retell of each episode and then talk about what worked (the goods) and didn't (not so goods). I may not always agree with their assessment, but I can understand their point of view.
Yikes! I was trying to listen to the Alyse Wax interview about her Friday 13th book, but she couldn’t get a word in edgewise over Mike’s incessant rambling. He interrupts constantly, talking about his old 24 podcast or just plain nonsense nobody cares about. He’s way too self involved & loves hearing himself talk. I can’t listen to this podcast anymore, & I totally love the Friday 13th tv show but hearing his voice ruins it for me.
I love this series and was fortunate enough to watch it back with a friend back on the day. I have now been able to share it with my partner after acquiring all 3 series on DVD. This podcast is the perfect accompaniment to the series... articulate, informative and all round fun, great work!
