This podcast inspires me to capture more carbon in my soil. I have a small hobby farm, and now am keen to do more. Amazing to hear from 1st generation farmers and their regenerative farming ways. Love hearing everyone’s stories and their favorite veg. My favourite vegetable at the moment is garlic - Home grown, minced and frozen in ice cubes ready to use in all my cooking.
This podcast is hands down one of my favourites. I love that I get to hear the stories from some awesome Tassie people, but at the same time it challenges the status quo about our understanding of farming, soil and food and how it all fits together. Every person should listen to this podcast, because we all eat food to survive and we need to change the conversation around farming and food to be sure we are connected, supportive and play our part in this system. Well done Kate, keep up the awesom... more

Thank you for such an informative podcast. I am really enjoying it and will continue to listen. (On a side note please change your microphone because the reverberation is really hard at times)
It’s so great to hear from all types of people who grow food on one platform.
Kate asks insightful questions and makes her subjects feel comfortable.
I loved her use of the word ‘Patching’ as a verb with Helen - I think I’ll be adopting that to my garden lingo!
Really enjoying my weekly listen to Kate interview amazing farmers. Thank you Kate for seeking to interview inspiring regenerative farmers and for asking questions to really showcase the knowledge base of each farms practices! Great listening!
Learning from the different ways farmers use to regenerate the land.
Every episode is like a guided tour of a farm, very inspiring!
Kate is fantastically curious.
She shows a genuine interest in farming but is so supportive and respectful of others farms, their style and differences.
It feels just like sitting in a lounge room with Kate and the farmer having a chat together, sharing a cuppa and having a nibble on some goats cheese.
Well done Kate
