  • Don’t know how I wound up here,

but this panel and this podcast are absolutely fun and informative to listen to. The stray curse words thrown around to urge a specific point on the stupidity or ridiculousness that we find ourselves in, is perfectly refreshing to the average, existentially anguished listener.

  • Another Regressive Podcast

Sadly, this only looks at the issues through the Regressive Liberal point of view. No room for anyone else to ‘Co-Exist’.

Talking Points

Ex-Detroit Chief James Craig Talks About Cracking Down on Teen Takeovers
Q: How did you rebuild trust in the police after years of controversy?
By making decisive leadership changes, raising morale, and showing tangible results like real-time crime monitoring and neighborhood policing, which demonstrated that the department would act decisively and transparently.
Ex-Detroit Chief James Craig Talks About Cracking Down on Teen Takeovers
Q: What was your read on the Teen Takeovers and how did you respond?
I treated them as a public safety crisis, not just a protest movement. We implemented clear, enforceable consequences for illegal activity, opened channels to engage organizers, and emphasized accountability—while also expanding programming and community-based options to deter future disturbances.
Detroit in Black and White: Mallory McMorrow Makes Her Case For Being a U.S. Senator
Q: What distinguishes you from your opponents in this race?
I'm the only candidate who has beaten an incumbent to gain office, helped flip the state Senate, and delivered on civil rights and voting rights, which demonstrates a proven ability to translate campaign promises into policy and leadership.
Detroit in Black and White: Mallory McMorrow Makes Her Case For Being a U.S. Senator
Q: What are the pressing issues in your view, and how do you plan to address them?
The big issue is democracy and institutions under threat; we must defend democracy, protect voting rights, and reform redistricting while expanding access to opportunity and the American dream through targeted investments and strong labor protections.
Detroit in Black and White: Pizza Joints and Buddy's Pizza. Has the King of Square Pizza Lost Some Quality?
Q: Does money decide these campaigns, or do other factors matter more?
Money is influential but not determinative; supporters and party machinery, regional dynamics, and local sentiment also play crucial roles in shaping outcomes.
