Dave doesn’t come across as a cigar guy as much as a political mouthpiece constantly parroting tired right-wing talking points and pandering to an older conservative audience. I came for cigar education, not a weekly dose of culture-war commentary. Hard pass.
The amount of ads really kill the momentum and ultimately tired me of this show. Typical “do anything to get a buck at the expense of quality” sort of thing.
they leave nothing out and give you details on all cigars they recommend, the guys are also very funny

This is a great podcast all around. It’s entertaining, funny, informative, and interesting. Peter Griffen (Dave) and the cast never fail to deliver. One note I would add to improve the show; add decimal points to the strength-o-meter. Great show guys keep up the good work.

A weekly, riff-friendly cigar-focused show blends industry news, product launches, and culture with heavy host banter and audience engagement. Episodes commonly cover new releases, branding strategies, tariffs and trade issues, events, and cigar culture lore, often featuring guests from the tobacco world. The format combines educational tidbits with humor, lively debates, and sponsor segments, making it attractive to enthusiasts who want both market-insight and personality-driven conversation. A standout is the consistent mix of industry insiders, long-running bits, and hands-on product discussions that feel like a friendly hang with cigars in the room.
