  • Ridiculous assumptions about a religion

Do not bring the LDS religion into your story. Just because it is in Utah or the person was or is “Mormon” has nothing to do

With the religion. People make their own choices. I find you very offensive while

You insinuate something is going on with the LDS religion. You claim you’re not meaning to be offensive while you are giving misinformation and you are being offensive but talking about something you know nothing about Ridiculous.

  • Offensive

I believe we live in a world where people are overly offended. That being said, I am lds and had borderline personality disorder. (I no longer meet the criteria) With this case, and the Daybell case, there have been so many statements that are ignorant and flat out inaccurate. I rarely get offended but it’s pretty hard not to. Love the coverage of the trials without pauses, but not a fan of the commentary.

  • 50% ads 50% rehashing the same clips from a radio show

Awful. Zero stars. 12 minute episodes, of which 6-8 minutes are ADS! crazy. The narrator’s radio show inflection is BEYOND obnoxious. They use the same clips over and over and title them different ways so they can pump out another batch of ad revenue. They are exploiting the true crime community. The show’s begin with 5 minutes of adds, maybe 6 minutes of obnoxious content that they’ve already used ten times, and then another 6 minutes of ads. This could be a great show if it were done by someon... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Kouri Richins Q&A: FBI Expert on the Children's Book, the Escalation, and Eric's Ignored Warnings
Q: How important is a defendant's emotional display in court to the jurors' perception of guilt or innocence?
Emotional display is considered risky; it can be misconstrued and potentially harm the defense, so many defense attorneys advise a restrained, poker-faced demeanor to avoid feeding biases.
Kouri Richins Q&A: FBI Expert on the Children's Book, the Escalation, and Eric's Ignored Warnings
Q: What are the psychological drivers for someone to escalate a plan after an initial failure in attempting harm?
The experts suggest a mix of narcissistic signaling, maintaining control, and testing the waters for how others respond, indicating that escalation may be driven more by the need for perceived power than by panic.
Marie Bramwell & Becky Lloyd: Witnesses Describe Conversations With Kouri | Kouri Richins Trial
Q: Ms. Lloyd, when Kouri Richins told you it would be better if Eric were dead, was she joking?
No, she was not joking; the statement was taken seriously and reflected serious concerns about the marriage and potential consequences.
Kouri Richins Trial: Five Times Lethal Dose, Star Witness, and the Defense's Counterattack
Q: What's your view on using dosage levels to argue premeditation in a fentanyl case?
The dosage can be a strong fact in favor of premeditation if it is presented within a totality of evidence showing calculated procurement and intent, but it must be corroborated by other evidence to avoid overreaching. Digital traces and witness testimony help contextualize the dosage as part of a broader pattern rather than isolated data.
Allie Staking: From Confrontation to Celebration of Life | Kouri Richins Trial
Q: What did Eric say about the Valentine's Day incident?
Eric joked that Kouri had tried to poison him, but others clarified it was an allergic reaction or exaggerated story, and the group laughed at the idea as a dark humor moment.
