I believe that this is a great way of learning on the go. For me, the classroom setting isn't my first choice of learning method. (So this is great for me).
I feel that being a registered manager can often be lonely.
These podcasts make remember that you are not on your own and other people deal with what you deal with on a daily basis also.
There are some really interesting learning opportunities and a huge amount of skill sharing.

I am on pod cast 3 and can honestly say my train journey to work is now informative in many many ways. I have learnt lots already. Would highly recommend anyone in care to listen to these.
